The Mission is to utilize public celebrity to capture young people’s attention to reinforce positive behavior messaging and provide concrete decision making tactics that will lead youth to academic success and support their becoming productive citizens. The group mentoring assemblies addresses violence, trauma, truancy, goal setting, academic advancement, self-esteem and self care. The goal is to reach more than 50,000 youth and parents in numerous cities across the United States with positive messaging.

The Etan Thomas Foundation put on a BlackLivesMatter youth summit during NBA all star wknd for 1500 predominantly Black and Latino males at Canaan Baptist Church in Harlem New York with guests Isiah Thomas, Alonzo Mourning, Chris Broussard, Kevin Powell, John Wallace and Hosea Chanchez.

The Etan Thomas Foundation presents a celebrity panel to the youth, and takes you inside one of the worlds most infamous jail systems, New York's, Rikers Island. Fatherhood is the main topic discussed with the inmates ranging in the young ages of 14 to 18 years.
